CPSC welcomed on 30 September 2005 newly-engaged Faculty Consultant Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja as he officially joined the roster of faculty members and experts of the Staff College.
Dr. Dhameja, an Indian national, was selected as a Governing Board-engaged Faculty Consultant for Technical Education in a unanimous decision by the Governing Board during its 79th Governing Board Meeting on 28 July 2005 in Manila, Philippines.
The new faculty consultant is a Professor at the National Institute for Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Department of Entrepreneurship Development and Industrial Coordination, Chandigarh. He has extensive academic and teaching experiences and had been involved in the training of teachers of polytechnic colleges and engineering colleges in India. His areas of expertise include entrepreneurship development, small business management, industry-institute interaction, research and development, curriculum development, instructional material development and consultancy.
He vested 23 other candidates from 9 countries for the post who were screened and evaluated by the CPSC Academic Board per the post's qualification requirements and selection criteria. He will serve CPSC for three years. He is married and with two children.
