The Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (CPSC), in an effort to bring back the research culture on TEVT systems, conducted an In-Country program on "Research and Survey in TEVT" from 09-20 July 2005 at Enghelab-e-Islami Higher Education College, Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.
The program was specially designed for the officials, planners and senior administrators of the Ministry of Higher Technical Education, Government of Iran.
At the culmination of the two week program the participants are expected to:

Understand research and Survey and its role in the development of the TEVT systems

Understand the process of research identification and development of the research framework

Undertake the survey based research

Data treatment and Interpretation

Use the SPSS software for data analysis
The overall management of the program was handled by the CPSC Director General, Dr. Man-Gon Park as Program Supervisor. He was assisted by Prof. Hazrat Hussain, CPSC Assistant Faculty as Course Coordinator and Chief Resource Person, together with Dr. Soon-Hyung Park, CPSC Assistant Faculty, as Course Co-Coordinator. Mr. Ghulamreza Mohammadzadeh Awal, Technical and Vocational Education Expert, Ministry of Education, Bureau of Technical & Vocational Education Islamic Republic of Iran, served as Local Coordinator.
